Full Bio

Tyler V. Hardeman, Sr., a native of Pensacola, Florida. Pastor Hardeman was licensed and ordained to the ministry by the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.


Hardeman received his theological training at the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee where he received a Diploma in Theology, Selma University in Selma, Alabama where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible Theology and Pastoral Ministry, Master of Arts degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministry, Master of Arts in Christian Education, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Biblical Preaching at Anderson University Clamp School of Divinity in Anderson, South Carolina.


Pastor Hardeman was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters and a Doctor of Divinity from the historically black college Virginia University of Lynchburg located in Lynchburg,

Virginia.


Dr. Hardeman currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Selma University, Executive Board of the First West Florida District Association, Past Assistant Dean of First West Florida Congress of Christian Education, Associate Professor of Theology at Dallas Bible Theological Institute,

and Dean of the Pensacola Baptist Minister’s Union and Vicinity.


Pastor Hardeman served as Pastor of Lily Baptist Church of Mobile, Alabama, nine years prior to returning back as Co-Pastor and then Pastor of Antioch Baptist Church. Pastor Hardeman is a member of Saint John #189 P.H.A. Masonic Lodge, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Beta Omicron #594 and International Benevolent Society #737.


Dr. Hardeman is married to the former Miss Natalie Smith. They are the proud parents of three children and two grandchildren.
