Full Bio

Dr. Joyce Harrell is a layperson at Mt, Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, in Los Angeles, CA, where Dr. Ticey M. Brown, is her Pastor. Dr. Joyce serves as a Trustee, Strategic Leadership Director, Discipleship Ministry Coordinator, and Family Counselor. 

Dr. Joyce was conferred a Doctorate of Christian Ministry Degree, with an emphasis in Strategic Leadership, through Faith Evangelical College and Seminary.

Dr. Joyce has also, been conferred three Master Degrees through Faith Evangelical College and Seminary, one in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Christian Counseling, the second in Leadership Ministry with an emphasis in Life Coaching, and a Masters in Christian Education

Dr. Joyce serves as a facilitator on the Board of Christian Education for the California Missionary Baptist State Convention, and for the Fellow Baptist District Association of Los Angeles. 

Dr. Joyce has worked with Serve the Children, and has been to Monrovia Liberia, West Africa on 3 mission trips. During these trips Dr Joyce facilitated classes in leadership and discipleship.
Dr. Joyce is the mother of 4 and the grandmother of 2.

Dr. Joyce loves the Lord and wants to be used by Him in whatever way He chooses. 

My Goal is: To be a Godly mentor and develop leaders, provide encouragement and empower leaders to keep their focus and stay on track

I Believe: Leaders are called to Serve Christ; Serve the Pastor and Serve the Congregation.
