Full Bio

Anthony R. Pettus Sr. is known as a man who is powerful and prolific in preaching and teaching the Word of God. His mission is to impact the community, state, nation and world. 

He was the Pastor of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in South Bend, Indiana for twelve years. While at Macedonia, he developed several ministries. 

Pastor Pettus is a much sought-after speaker and has traveled all across the United States preaching, teaching, and conducting various seminars. 

He became the proud Pastor 
of Greater Progressive Baptist Church in October 2004.

His God-given direction is to take ministry to another level. Pastor Pettus is one of the most sought after biblical teacher and preachers of our modern area. 

He has served in V & B Ministries in several capacities for 1999-2015. 

He served in the Ministers division of WHW Ministries teaching word studies and syntax from 1998-2005. 

He served as the keynote lecturer in the Singles division of the Frank Ray Expository Teaching/Preaching Conference from 2001-2012. 

He served as Moderator of the Logos Baptist District Association from 2010 to 2015. 

He was elected as state President of the Original General Missionary Baptist State Convention of Indiana Inc., in July 2015
