Monday 01/11/21
,Grace morning on this marvelous and meaningful Monday.
Growing up I remember we had a pear tree in our backyard, and it had so many pears on it, that a couple of the branches started to touch the ground. There were five or six big pears on the end of this small branch. Because the branches couldn’t carry the weight, the pears didn’t develop properly. Are you wondering, why God won’t give you more influence, more favor, more opportunity? It may be because your branches can’t carry the weight right now. If God gives you ten pears, but your branch can only sustain three it’s not a blessing it’s a burden. Instead of focusing on the fruit, if you’ll focus on developing your branches, getting stronger, being a person of excellence, having integrity, doing the right thing when nobody is watching, treating people with respect, giving God praise when you could be complaining, because your character is getting stronger, your roots are going down deeper, you’ll be able to handle the weight of the fruit that God has for your life.
“Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.”
John 15:2 AMPC
Trust God in your pruning season.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this No-Doubt-About- it magnificent Monday!
