Grace morning on this serene and sensational Sunday.
My youngest son was 10 years old playing little league softball. He was very small growing up, always the shortest one on the team. I remember one game in particular, when he got up to bat, the coach on the other team came out of the dugout, started waving his arms, shouting to the outfielders “Come in closer. Come in closer”. The coach was actually saying to his players, “you’re facing a wimp who can’t win. “This guy up to bat is a loser, look how small he is, he can’t hit”. The coach is making this big scene, everyone in the stands was watching. Something rose up in my son, It was like he went through a metamorphosis. You don’t know what I’m capable of”. The pitcher threw the ball, the first pitch he swung with all of his might it seem, that ball went over everyone’s head, one bounce hit the fence. He was small but fast, He rounded the bases for an inside the park home run.
“Since God loves you, he is able to give you more than you need. You will always have every good thing that you need for yourselves. And you will have enough to do many good things to help other people.”
2 Corinthians 9:8 EEB
There are times, when what God put in you, shows up when you’re being counted out to succeed.
Live, love, and laugh your way through this sufficient and splendiferous Sunday!
