Tuesday 08/10/21
Grace morning on this tremendous and tranquil Tuesday.
Life brings a plethora of problems, pain, and predicaments. One test we all have to pass is being faithful in the ordinary days. Like clay spinning on the wheel, sometimes our lives can feel like we are spinning, sputtering, and slipping not getting anywhere, like we’re just doing the same thing every day with no purpose nor progress. It’s easy to feel like giving up and lose momentum when nothing is happening.
But like that clay on a potter’s wheel, when it feels like you’re going in circles, something is happening that you can’t see. You’re growing. Behind the scenes, God is making, mending and molding you, preparing you for where He wants to take you next. But, you have to stay on His Potter’s Wheel and stay faithful!
Even the great Bible heroes faced ordinary days that were routine. The story of Joseph will show you that when you’re faithful in average days, then you will see exceptional days.
You’ll never miss out on the new things God has in store!
“So Pharaoh commissioned Joseph: “I’m putting you in charge of the entire country of Egypt.” Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his finger and slipped it on Joseph’s hand. He outfitted him in robes of the best linen and put a gold chain around his neck. He put the second-in-command chariot at his disposal, and as he rode people shouted “Bravo!” Joseph was in charge of the entire country of Egypt.”
Genesis 41:41-43 MSG
