Joe Mosley

Dr. Joe N. Mosley was born on December 4, 1980, in Amory, MS. He graduated from Houston High School in 1999.


He accepted his calling to the ministry in July 2002 and has served since. Dr. Mosley earned his Bachelor of Theology from the A.P. Clay Theological Seminary in Brookhaven, MS. He earned two Doctor of Theology degrees from Flag Baptist College in Jackson, MS, and the Kingdom Theological Seminary in Brookhaven,MS. Dr. Mosley was elected pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, August 2011. 


Since his election, the church has grown spiritually, physically, and financially. Calvary has a full-time ministry that serves mans total needs while reaching the Lost and teaching the Saved to serve. Under Dr. Mosley’s leadership in 2018,

a new church was constructed to serve the Vicksburg community. He is a firm believer of explaining the truth of God’s word. He has served as the Pastoral Director and Treasurer for the Vicksburg Ministerial Alliance. Currently, he serves as the Regional Director for the V&B Ministries.


Dr. Mosley is not only devoted to God but to his family as well. He is the proud father of two sons, Nathan and Joe. He married his wonderful wife, Charlene, his high school sweetheart, on August 31, 2002. Dr. Mosley believes that to follow Christ, one must try to mimic Him in every way. Anyone who truly serves God knows and understands that they first must be servants of others.
