Vernette Williams is a dedicated Christian educator, mother of two, and grandmother of five.

Originally from Chicago, she moved to Fort Wayne in 1999 and joined Greater

Progressive Baptist Church in 2000. She has faithfully served in various leadership roles including Director of Christian Education, Ministry Leader for New Members, Train the Trainer (T 3 ), Christian Women’s Fellowship, Prayer Ministry, Vision SteeringCommittee, Small Groups, and Superintendent of Sunday School.

Vernette holds a B.A. in Business Management, and an M.S. in Training &  Development.

Vernette is a Certified Dean with the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc., and instructor for the Sunday School Publishing Board.

She also has a strong administrative background as Secretary/Registrar for multiple state and district Baptist associations.

Vernette is a proud 2022 alumni of 3BC College in Dallas, continuing her commitment to lifelong learning and spiritual development.
